CH ChriMaso’s Emperor’s New Suit
“Bare”
January 15, 2005 -
June 9, 2007
This precious little fellow was born more than a week
prematurely. He had no hair on his muzzle or on his feet; hence,
the name “Bare.” He struggled for several weeks before deciding
to stick with it and start growing. He was a singleton from my
"Fairy Tales" litter, but worth all the effort to see him grow
into a beautiful dog.
He started off with a bang by taking Winners Dog & Best of
Winners for a FIVE POINT MAJOR his third weekend out and
finishing with a 4 point major less than 2 months later!
Bare is from a repeat breeding that produced Taison,
Multi-CH ChriMaso’s Midnight Mai Tai.
Although he lived me for briefly when he was being shown, Bare
was really my son’s dog. Bare ADORED Mason and followed him
wherever he went. Bare loved me, but as soon as Mason entered
the room, no one else existed for Bare – he was ALL Mason’s dog.
And the feeling was mutual. Mason took Bare everywhere with him.
Mason was traveling one summer during vacation and called me in
hysterics. Bare had stopped breathing and he was frantic to see
if there was anything I could think of that could be done to
save him. He took Bare to a local vet, but the vet was unable to
save him. We don’t know exactly what caused his death, but this
tragic accident was devastating to my son, and to me as well.
Bare was the sweetest, funniest little guy. His 13 lbs of body
was filled with 100 lbs of love.
