Hi there and thanks for
visiting our News page. This is the page to come to if you're
interested in fundraising events, seeing what is going on with
our "partners" in other countries, or finding out if there are
any special "brags" we may have, or just checking out things
that may be new and exciting with the ChriMaso crowd. Sometimes,
just sometimes, I clean out some of my doggy knick knacks and
may put a link here to my eBay auctions, so you never know what
you might find!
Fundraisers
Right
now, I have no fundraisers going on; however, I support Boston
Terrier rescue through financial & item donations, providing
transportation, and fostering for local organizations.
Additionally, I do rescue on my own when I can.
Boston Terrier rescues are always in need of support, and that
support can be provided in a number of ways... you can foster a
rescue until it is adopted, provide transportation from a
shelter to a foster home, make financial contributions, give
item donations, or even just purchase from organizations like
Portraits by 'Nette,
Helping Udders and
BeanDogsCafe that
give a portion of the proceeds to rescue. I've listed several
reputable Boston Terrier rescue organizations on my
Links
page.
Special Brags
Show
season is upon us once again, so come watch and root for
ChriMaso Boston Terriers and our family and friends!!! We're hoping to
finish championships on a couple of our babies and bring some
new ones out as well. You should find us at shows in NorCal and
maybe even parts of Nevada and Oregon too. Hope to see you ringside!
Not only will you see us, but you'll also see
Butler babies in the ring. Valerie Korff of SV Boston
Terriers will be showing
Emmy, and Jamey Spowart of
Sage Hill Kennels will be showing her girl
Ghia. Blair Barret of
Ipolani Boston Terriers will be bringing out his new Butler
daughter, Kunani, as well. And who knows... I may have a new
baby or two to bring out too!

March 2010
Dash wins 2 points her first
time in the ring and followed it up with a RWB award
her second time!!! Not bad for a beginning, huh?

Tequila are proud of their little girl! Thanks
to provisional judges Donnelle Richards for her WB
award (March 25th) and Marilyn Dromgoole for RWB
(March 27th).
And that's not all... Jamey finished
Ghia on Friday, March 26th under respected judge
David Alexander. Ghia finished with FOUR majors. Her
daddy,
Butler, mom,
Serene, and I are all very proud of her and
Jamey. Congrats
SageHill girls!!!
January 2010
Ghia is on fire! She took
her second FOUR POINT MAJOR (third major all
together) at the Rose City Classic shows in
Portland, OR under respected judge, Sandra Goose
Allen. Two days later,
Ghia took reserve to the 4
pt major. Now she needs just one single to complete
her championship. Her daddy,
Butler, and I are both
very proud of her and Jamey. Congrats you two!
December 2009
Tequila got another point on December 29th under
Mrs. Eva Berg at the Santa Cruz Kennel Club show in
San Mateo. Just a few more singles and Tequila will
be finished too!
October 2009
Karma got her first two points out of the BBE
class on October 10th at just over 6 months of age
under Mr. Joe Tacker at the Two Cities Kennel Club
show!!! And congrats to
Ghia for getting her second major on October
24th under Mrs. Florence Males.
Go
Butler!!! His first weekend out in Canada was a
great one! He won all three days and even took BOB
from the classes and went on to take a Group 2!

Butler completed his Canadian championship
quickly!
Foreign Friends
Taison
is home - YIPPEE!!!! Taison
is back home safe and sound! He is now officially retired and
will be spoiled and pampered for years to come, though you may
see him from time to time at local specialties IF he still feels
like showing. More about his travels and what's new on his own
page, though it really is good to have Taison
home after visiting one of our
International Partners in South Africa and LOVING it
(well....except for the heat...he's not fond of that AT ALL). He
enjoyed his stay with the
Togra Boston Terriers family and
playing with Shaun & Crystal Graham's oldest daughter, Danielle,
and grandpa too! He has completed his championship title there
and was busy helping improve the breed by bringing in some new
blood to the breeding lines there. He has produced some
absolutely stunning puppies and we wish them all great success
in the ring and whelping box.

***FLASH*** My
sister-in-law is famous!!!! Okay, well, not really, but she’s
special to me and NOT just because she authored an awesome book!
Debbie Preston, is not only my SIL, but she’s a great friend as
well. She is an inspiration and I enjoy spending time with her.
But, enough about us… the NEWS is that her book is AWESOME!!
If any of you are hikers, interested in hiking, or know of
someone who is, then you may be interested in her book. Check it
out at
48 DOG-FRIENDLY TRAILS. The thing about this book that makes
it stand above other books is that it is based upon her personal
experience (and even some of mine as several of my dogs and I
have gone hiking with her on some of these trails). It is so
much more personal than “just a book” as she includes points of
interest, places where you can stop to eat or go wine tasting,
and even provides information indicating if it is
elderly/handicap accessible as she’s taken her somewhat frail
mom (who uses a walker) hiking too. All of that AND the fact
that she makes my brother VERY happy make her a star in my book.
If you’re REALLY nice, you can buy the book, send it to me, and
I will have her autograph it for you!
AND….This website, of course!!! This is a complete redesign of
my previous website and I just LOVE it. Special thanks to Karen
Harvey and Ruthy Stephan for not only their tremendous talents
