News and Events
Hi there and thanks for visiting our News page.
This is the page to come to if you're interested in fundraising
events, seeing what is going on with our "partners" in other
countries, or finding out if there are any special "brags" we
may have, or just checking out things that may be new and
exciting with the ChriMaso crew. Sometimes, just sometimes, I
clean out some of my doggy knick knacks and may put a link here
to my eBay auctions, so you never know what you might find!

Fundraisers
Right
now, I have no fundraisers going on; however, I support Boston
Terrier rescue through financial & item donations, providing
transportation, and fostering for local organizations.
Additionally, I do rescue on my own when I can.
Boston Terrier rescues are always in need of
support, and that support can be provided in a number of ways...
you can foster a rescue until it is adopted, provide
transportation from a shelter to a foster home, make financial
contributions, give item donations, or even just purchase from
organizations like
Portraits by 'Nette,
Helping Udders and
BeanDogsCafe that give a portion of the proceeds to rescue.
I've listed several reputable Boston Terrier rescue
organizations on my
Links
page as well, so be sure to check that out if you get a chance!

Show
season is getting ready to start up again soon, so come watch
and root for ChriMaso Boston Terriers and our family and
friends!!! Last year, I finished a mother & daughter (Tequila &
Dash). I’m also proud to announce that Sid’s daughter, Aurora
was a Top Boston in Canada. She is a Canadian multi-BIS and
multi-BISS winner and an Am Grand Champion as well. Congrats to
her breeder & owner, Teresa Brereton of Waylin Boston Terriers.
This year I’m hoping to finish a couple more ChriMaso
championships as well as bring out one or two newbies,
so stay tuned for some new announcements in the next
couple months.
You should find us at shows in NorCal and maybe even
parts of Nevada. Plus, I am planning to attend the
Greater Houston BTC host club specialties and BTCA
National Specialty in Houston, TX in May. Hope to see
you ringside!
Come cheer us on!!! If you can't be there, check my
tweets on the right and I'll update you as soon as I
can!

January 2012 |
Ahhhh, the 5 point major broke down to 4 points,
so Tiffany still needs
one more, teeny, tiny little point to complete her
Grand Champion title! Thank you to judge Kathy
Sawyer for awarding Tiffany SB at the Kennel Club of
Palm Springs show!

|
December 2011 |
Tiffany gets another 2
points towards her Grand Champion title at the San
Mateo Kennel Club show in Vallejo. Only 5 more
points to go!!!

November 2011 |
Confetti did us proud at
the Turkey Circuit. These were her very first shows
as she turned 6 months old on the first day of the
circuit. Over the four days, she took RWB the first
day, WB the second day, RWB the third day and then
wrapped it up nicely with an awesome grand finale of
going WB, BOW, and BOS (over three bitch specials
including her mother) under Mr. William Bergum!!!!
Confetti's dam Tiffany
also received grand champion points 3 of the 4 days
of the circuit. WooHoo!! Go ChriMaso crew!!!

Foreign Friends
As
I’m sure you’re aware,
Taison
“toured” the world and one of the places he lived for awhile was
South Africa. He was visiting one of our
International Partners and adding some new DNA to their gene
pool.. My friends Shaun & Crystal Graham of
Togra Boston Terriers
recently informed me that last year’s Number 1 Boston Terrier
Adult was a Taison son and the Number 1 Boston Terrier Puppy was
a Taison grandchild. Congratulations and well done Togra BTs
(and Taison too...lol) !!!!

Other News & Exciting
Things
***FLASH*** My sister-in-law is
famous...AGAIN!!!! Yes, it’s true, my sister-in-law, Debbie
Preston, has just finished her SECOND hiking book and it’s even
better than the first one, so you won’t want to miss out on it.
You can check out her first book at
48 Dog-Friendly Trails shown on the left,
or this second one,
Dog-Friendly Trails for All Seasons in California's
Foothills and the Sierra Nevada shown on the right. The thing about these
books that makes them stand above other books is that the hikes
are based upon her personal experience (and even some of mine as
some of my dogs and I have gone hiking with her on some of these
trails). It is so much more personal than “just a book” as she
includes points of interest, places where you can stop to eat or
go wine tasting, and even provides information indicating if it
is elderly/handicap accessible as she’s taken her somewhat frail
mom (who uses a walker) hiking too. All of that AND the fact that she makes my
brother VERY happy make her a star in my book. And, if you’re
REALLY nice, you can buy the book, send it to me, and I will
have her autograph it for you!
As you can see, it is
official! ChriMaso now TWEETS! Be a
ChriMaso follower and be the first to know about our show
wins, puppy news, and general ChriMaso crew info! Happy Tweeting
to you!
Stay tuned for other NEWS, so check back often!
