Hardee is approximately 13 years old. He is a
very quiet and sweet big boy at 32 lbs. and loves everybody he
meets. He is housebroken. His owner passed away and Hardee ended
up in a kill shelter. He loves his walks on a leash. He does
well with other dogs and would be good with children. He is
neutered; Heartworm negative and current on Heartworm
prevention; vaccinated current to include Rabies; fecal exam
clear; patellar check normal; heart check normal; but due to his
age and prognosis is a special needs boy. He has a few fatty
cysts on his chest that do not bother him but his blood works
shows the possibility of him having Cushings. He is also crate
trained. If you would like to provide a loving home for this
sweet old guy please contact Lynda Piercy, Wannabe Run Boston
Terriers & Rescue, (530) 343-5171 or e-mail
wannaberun@sbcglobal.net. Hardee will be placed in an
approved home only that is exceptional. There will be an
adoption service fee to help with his expenses.
If Hardee isn't the dog for you, and you're
interested in a rescue, please check our
Other Links page for links to other rescue organizations.
Check back often as sometimes there are rescue dogs or retired
dogs available from me or other reputable breeders. From
time to time, I (or other breeders I know) may also have retired
champions or puppies available. If you're interested in a
puppy, please see our
puppies page for important information.
If you are
interested in being on my waiting list, please download the
Puppy Application. Complete and return it to me.
See my
Contact Info page for contact information. Upon approval, I
will notify you and put you on the list. Since Bostons
have very small litters (usually only 2-4), I highly recommend
you get on several breeders' lists, so don't be shy about asking
to be on more than one!
